As alot of my fellow players and friends from Singapore have already expressed, there were feelings of betrayal and total loss of faith when we were told we weren't going. The professional attitude required of a sporting administration was not altogether present in the SFA. There were some people who appeared to be doing things right but in the end, it was the collective decisions that mattered.
There were other factors that contributed to our not going, but what riled me was that the SFA could have come to a decision way ahead of time and not wait till everyone was getting jittery.
We had a meeting to discuss our chances of going with the SFA head before this Decision. It was NOT a meeting. It was a monologue where our views were cut off quick and the SFA could talk about their past and experiences and why that meant we could not go. I've heard my nephew come up with better stories!!
anyway, just venting feelings as well. just wish i could be a little more descriptive! Paul, maybe I can join u on that "Kicked Out" bench.
